i'm writing this short story for my next film and wanted to make a realistic portrayal of amnesia.
A child remembers moments he spent with his mother as he waits for her at the park. She never comes back.
I thought perhaps she could have told him to wait at the park and then never returned because she forgot him.
Realistic? or she just abandoned him?Is it possible that a mother with amnesia forgets her young son at the park?
I wouldn't say that this senario would be realistic, a bond that a mother has with her child is too thick. Unless she does get amnesia from a car accident or other freak accident and loses who she is. Then she wouldn't know who she mothered.
like she said, if the child had 2 go 2 the bathroom really bad and the mom said, sure go ahead (if they were in seeing distance from the bathroom) ill just pack up all this stuff and meet u outside the bathroom. then she gets amnesia and goes off somewhere...Is it possible that a mother with amnesia forgets her young son at the park?
U better don't have amnesia.
Im not a doctor, But I dont think amnesia pertains to short term memory, Unless she suffered head trauma while at said park, and wandered away in a stupor leaving her child?
But I could be wrong. Is it possible that a mother with amnesia forgets her young son at the park?
realistic only if the amnesia happened after she told the boy to stay. otherwise it would see more short term memory. good luck
Not very realistic!
